3:54pm ET Phila, PA m. This man - what is his name, how can I not lose this connection - is the best presenter I have ever found. I struggle with technology. He speaks my language - English - clearly and slow enough so I can hear what he says. He also repeats, which also helps me. I am a new, huge fan and hope I can find him again. I gave to present on zoom tonight and need to know how to share a diagram so I can teach from it. It is not in PowerPoint. Someone else created the diagram and e-mail it to me. I plopped it on my desktop, but still could not figure out how to share it. The zoom settings changed and I never mastered the old, and am more bewildered now. I must persevere. Thank you for serving us. I am so grateful..

When sharing the power point do we need to share the excel as well? So that the object is visible?

Thank you. I had it working on 3 screens accidentally, then I added a 4th screen and it put it on the wrong screen. Now it's sorted.

How can this be done if your dates and data is going across the row instead of down the columns? Eg. an amortizing loan of forecated vs actual. Where do you insert the zero, total amount and =TODAY() formulas please?

I've never understood 'plain vanilla'. Vanilla is a wonderful, subtle, sophisticated flavour. Plain is just...plain. Dull. Nothing like the gastronomic wonder that is vanilla. That said, I would have expected the variation from the previous year to also be shown graphically as a bar that would sit either above or below the top of the current year column, much like an error bar.

How do you force a line above column chart when the line is a series, and the column(s) contain two series themselves? I'm stumped.

just do this: share your presentation in teams (not in presentation mode). Then when it's visible in teams, use the "Present in Teams" button on the top right part of your power point. This way you will see all participants and your presentation together. You will also see your notes.

Hi interesting thank you, I have a MacBook M2 and I have a Dell Windows laptop. I have an HDMI port in the Dell windows, and I have a HDMI adapter that plugs into the USB in my M2. How do I share my Mac M2 screen, into my Windows laptop please I don't want to add any picture capture Dongle or anything else, is there a way just to use the HDMI cable I currently have. It works fine sharing my M2 to my TV. Thank you.

Thanks for the information but it did not work with my iPad Pro 10.5 (Model 1701) - possibly becuse it has a Lightning Connector, not a USB-C Port. Since I have an HDMI port on my laptop, (HP Pavilion x-360 purchased in 2023), I did not need the USB-C to HDMI converter so I used an HDMI cable into Guermok A/V Capture card (one you recommended), then into a USB-C (female) to Lightning (male) adapter then into my iPad. Your routine on the iPad to open the webcam camera worked, but would not recognoze the A/V input source. On my laptop, I could not get "Screen 1 / Screen 2" to appear in "settings" either. Thank You

I experience the same phenomenon when using Zoom - I had everything set the way I wanted it, and then all of a sudden one day the settings were different and I wasn't able to adjust them so that they look the way I want in a Zoom meeting. What's happening now, after following your instructions, is that my video has flipped upside down. If I choose Flip Vertically in the Logi Capture interface, my Zoom video is right side up but the Logi Capture video is upside down. I can't get them both to display upright video at the same time. I can work with this, but I'd rather know why it's happening and how to fix it - can you help? Many thanks!

But what if you have a second data series in the same graph? The overlap does not work properly as you have varying gaps...

I can see all what you mentioned when I click on share. However, when I share it, it disappear and I see again the common window of my camera.

Thanks for introducing me to the Merge tool. That's a super useful capability. I played with it some more, and (using your example) merged your U-shape with a much larger rectangle. This made a shape that was shaded everywhere EXCEPT the U-shape. This allows you to shade the entire dashboard, while leaving the gauges in the U-shape unobscured, thus highlighting just those gauges.
